Harry Amass is set to make his first Premier League start as Ruben Amorim shuffles his pack for Manchester United's trip to Newcastle today.
Goalkeeper Andre Onana has been left in the North West with No 2 Altay Bayindir expected to fill in for him.
Now, Mail Sport understands that 18-year-old full-back Amass is in line to start in defence in what would be his full Premier League debut.
Amass was handed his league debut off the bench in the 3-0 win at Leicester City last month but is now being rewarded with a start.
The teenager arrived at United from Watford in 2023 and has thrived with both the Under-18 and Under-21 teams.
While Erik ten Hag was in charge Amass was routinely training with the first team and made the bench for a number of first team games.

Amorim hinted strongly at changes for today's match against Newcastle United, following the 2-2 draw away to Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday.
'There is a great responsibility,' Amorim said when asked if he needed to rotate after naming an unchanged line-up.
'We don't have a team that is really big and then we have players that I know cannot make 90 minutes in this moment. We have to be really careful.
'So we will try to address all these subjects in the game against Newcastle. But we have a great responsibility when we play any games. I will try to look at that, that is for sure. We have to face Newcastle with a team that we can be competitive to win the game.
'Sometimes winning games is the best way of preparing for the next one. Of course, I am going to be careful with some players but again we need to be competitive.
'When you are playing for Manchester United you cannot go to the game thinking about the next one.
'So we are going to face this one and then we have three days. We are going to prepare for the next one (against Lyon) without a lot of running and a lot of training. It's just recovering and then we will be fine on Thursday with our fans. But we need to face Newcastle in a way that we can win.'
