A former Chelsea star has enjoyed a fine start to life in management after taking his first job in the dugout last year.
Having hung up his boots in 2023 after a four-year stint with Brazilian club Flamengo, the individual assumed head coaching duties in September 2024.
His introduction to being a manager could not have gone much better since then - as he has guided the Brazilian side to three trophies while losing just one game in 27.
He enjoyed an impressive playing career with lengthy stints at Atletico Madrid either side of being part of Jose Mourinho's Premier League-winning Chelsea side in the 2014-15 season.
Filipe Luis has been the latest former Premier League star to be making waves in management after retiring from playing.
After just two months at the helm, he guided Flamengo to the Copa do Brasil, as they swept aside Atletico Mineiro 4-1 over two legs in November.

He kicked off 2025 in similar fashion, with a 3-1 victory over Botafogo to secure the Supercopa do Brasil in February.
Luis' third trophy as Flamengo boss came as he masterminded another two-legged victory - this time by beating Fluminense 2-1 over two legs - to win the Rio de Janeiro state championship for the Maracana-based outfit.
The ex-Chelsea left-back has a host of recognisable names in his current squad, including the likes of former Manchester City full-back Danilo and another ex-Juventus player being on the club's books in Alex Sandro.
In 2023, Filipe Luis has issued an apology to Angel Di Maria after revealing a comment he made about the Argentina star's wife was one of the biggest regrets of his career.
‘My biggest regret was with Di Maria'. [Sergio] Aguero told me: “If you talk about his wife, he will lose his composure.”

‘I mentioned his wife and he was devastated. I outplayed him the whole game, and he didn't do well.
‘I came home and I regretted it so much. Di Maria, I'm sorry.'
Felipe Luis and Di Maria had numerous battles with the Madrid giants, but the Argentine came out on top in the most high-profile fixture.
The two went head-to-head in the 2014 Champions League final, with Real Madrid eventually emerging as 4-1 winners.
