The transfer window is open and here are today's latest developments from Daily Mail Sport's Simon Jones...

Spurs snub Dragusin offer

Tottenham are understood to have rejected an approach from Roma to take centre back Radu Dragusin on loan.

The Romania international was on the bench against Aston Villa. His agent Florin Manea had earlier told Rai Sport in Italy: 'I’m waiting for Tottenham to say yes to Roma to get into the heart of it.

'There are a couple of offers for him, but Italy is special for Radu and he did very well in Serie A. He is a gladiator and gladiators are at home in Roma.'

Tel seeks loan

Spurs forward Mathys Tel is also keen to go out on loan to gain more game time and push for selection to the French national squad ahead of the World Cup.

The 20-year-old made his loan move from Bayern Munich permanent in the summer for £30m but has started just six matches under Thomas Frank, though has scored three goals.

Spurs are finalising terms with Santos for left wing-back Souza.

Villa's striker targets

Aston Villa have revived interest in striker Tammy Abraham.

The 28-year-old, who enjoyed a successful stint on loan at Villa when he was a Chelsea player, is on loan at Besiktas from Roma.

The Turkish side have an option to make the move permanent for £11.2m so Villa would have to negotiate with both to secure his transfer.

Villa are also interested in Newcastle United's Will Osula.

Juve seek Senesi

Juventus are continuing to discuss a potential January move for Bournemouth centre back Marco Senesi.

The 28-year-old Argentina international is out of contract in the summer and is among Barcelona’s potential targets as they look for quality free agents. Juventus are considering a move now to fend off competition from Barca and other suitors.

Garner's new deal talks

Everton are continuing talks over a new contract for James Garner. The midfielder has attracted interest from AC Milan and Nottingham Forest but Everton are hopeful of reaching agreement soon.

Napoli's Mainoo alternative

Napoli have added Wolves' Joao Gomes to their list of midfield targets amid concerns Kobbie Mainoo will not be allowed to leave Manchester United this month following the sacking of Ruben Amorim.

Hornets buzzing around Bove

Watford are continuing talks with Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove over an initial six-month contract.

Bove has not played since collapsing on the pitch 13 months ago during a Serie A match while on loan at Fiorentina. The 23-year-old has since had an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) fitted, which means he can no longer continue playing in Italy due to Serie A rules.

Roma are in the process of cancelling his contract so he can become a free agent.
