Alfie Browne-Sykes and his fiancée, Aimee Scott, have announced that she is pregnant, as they shared a sweet snap on Instagram on Thursday.
The former Hollyoaks star, 31, who played Jason Roscoe in the soap, is already a stepfather to Aimee's son, Zach William, four, whom she welcomed from a previous relationship.
To announce their 'miracle', they shared a snap of a baby grow, which had 'Baby Browne-Sykes coming soon' printed on it, alongside ultrasound scan pictures.
Alongside the post, they penned: 'Our little miracle, Baby Browne-Sykes. You are already so loved.
'You have the sweetest big brother who is already so excited to play, protect, and love you. Our hearts are so full, and we feel incredibly blessed to be growing our family.'
Alfie - who starred on Hollyoaks from 2013 until 2016 - received congratulatory messages from some of his former soap co-stars, including Jessica Fox, 42, and Nikki Sanderson, 41.
One penned: 'I am over the moon for you both. I know what this means to you.'
'Congrats @mrbrownesykes best news ever your be the best parents out there super proud of u both (sic).'
'Aw Amy congratulations to you both and Zack merry Christmas to you all.'
The couple met in December 2022 at the bottom of the escalator at London Liverpool Street station and got engaged in the same spot two years later.
Alfie, Aimee, 30, and Zach have become a close family over the years, as they have shared numerous pictures of holidays with the actor referring to the child as 'his boy'.
Alfie is no longer working as an actor and has since switched his trade to roofing.
Speaking of his new career on an episode of the Just Real podcast, Alfie said: 'Going to work every day, working on people's roofs and them recognising you from Hollyoaks is a hard thing to deal with at first – especially when they make comments and don't realise what they are saying to you.
'I'm just trying to crack on with my acting, trying to pursue that career. It's a lot tougher than people think.
'It's a lot of waiting for the right opportunities to pop, especially with all the s*** at the minute.'
Alfie began dating Aimee after his split from his co-star Amanda Clapham, who played Holly Cunningham, in 2020.
The Sun claimed at the time Alfie chose to depart Hollyoaks 'to save his relationship' with Amanda.
Their on-screen romance was a rollercoaster - with Holly and Jason getting together as teenagers and getting engaged.
