Elon Musk stirred up the ire of X users on Tuesday with a bizarre post inspired by Sydney Sweeney's breasts.
The 54-year-old multi-billionaire was slammed on his own social media site after he weighed in on the 28-year-old actress's attire at the Los Angeles premiere of her new psychological thriller The Housemaid.
Sweeney had caused a stir at the event when she walked the red carpet in a busty white low-cut dress featuring a skirt decorated with feathers.
While many posters took the opportunity to comment on the Euphoria star's outfit and breasts, Musk's post came in for heavy criticism due to him being decades older than Sweeney and for previous posts he has made toward younger women that fans objected to.
In response to a video of the actress on the red carpet, Musk posted a disjointed AI-generated graphic featuring a photo of a smiling woman with large breasts that was captioned, 'What it looks like,' along with a graphic of a body with an inflamed, red spine.
The woman said 'Owie' in a childish voice, suggesting that she was suffering from back pain because of the size of her breasts.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Sweeney's representatives for comment but hasn't yet heard back.
Multiple users thought it was inappropriate for Musk to be commenting on Sweeney's body, particularly because he is so much older than her.
'She's 30 years younger than you. Weird,' wrote one user who rounded up their 26-year age gap.
The TrueAnon podcast co-host Brace Belden commented sarcastically, 'GREAT point.'
Another user wrote, 'What is bro doing here ð.'
Others compared Musk's post to earlier posts aimed at young women that they also found distasteful.
One poster looked back at a controversial post Musk made in September 2024 that was addressed to Taylor Swift.
'Fine Taylor ... you win ... I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life,' Musk bizarrely wrote at the time in response to Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris for president during the 2024 election.
'Between this response to Taylor Swift and that response to Sydney Sweeney, I don't know which Elon Musk tweet is more pathetic,' the user wrote, before musing on how much Musk's reputation and public profile has changed in recent years. 'Back in 2018, learning about this guy was like learning about real world Iron Man.'
Although breast size may contribute to back pain, women who report discomfort from having large breasts may have an improperly sized bra, or they may be suffering from common issues that cause back pain, including herniated discs, localized muscle pain and osteoarthritis, according to Healthline.
Sweeney, who was joined by her Housemaid co-star Amanda Seyfried, 40, at the film's LA premiere this week, recently set the record straight on her bust for an episode of Vanity Fair's Lie Detector Test.
Sweeney and Seyfried both took turns being hooked up to a lie detector as the other actress asked them potentially embarrassing questions while the device's readout was shown on-screen in real time.
'There's been a question on everyone’s mind recently, and I just have to ask. Are your boobs real?' Seyfried asked.
'Yes!' Sweeney shot back instantly.
Seyfried wasn't satisfied yet, so she asked for clarification if Sweeney had 'ever had any work done' on her breasts.
'No, I’ve never gotten any work done anywhere,' Sweeney responded.
After a moment of suspense, the woman administering the polygraph judged her as being 'truthful'.
