Dani Dyer has revealed that her new husband Jarrod Bowen's mother voted for her and ex-boyfriend Jack Fincham to win Love Island back in 2018.

The reality star, 28, famously appeared on the ITV2 reality show back in 2018 and went on to win with then-partner Jack, 32.

And after tying the knot with footballer Jarrod on Saturday, Dani has revealed that her in-laws were among the thousands of fans who voted for her to take the crown.

Appearing on Love Island: Decade of Love, the mum-of-three was among a slew of past Islanders watching back clips of their time on the show.

Joined by pal Samira Mighty, Dani revealed that her now mother-in-law had watched her series and been a fan even back then.

She told a shocked Samira: 'You know Jarrod's mum voted for us to win? So my mother-in-law voted for me and Jack to win Love Island.'

Dani has previously revealed that Jarrod's mother had 'manifested' the couple getting together after telling the West Ham star to date Dani.

Speaking on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast in February, the daughter of Danny Dyer, admitted being worried about whether Jarrod's family would approve of her, as she was a new mum to son Santiago with ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence.

She recalled: 'I was like "How does his family feel - do they want him to take on someone else's baby?"

'Later on I found out that Jarrod's mum used to vote for me and Jack to win Love Island.

'She actually said to Jarrod, "You should try and get with Dani" - so she manifested us.'

It comes as Dani and Jarrod became husband-and-wife in a lavish 'Bridgerton-themed' wedding this weekend.

The bride stunned in an elegant £10,000 off-the-shoulder designer gown by Suzanne Neville for the outdoor ceremony. 

White rose petals lined the aisle, with floral sculptures and candles creating a stunning backdrop which the bride and groom shared a kiss in front of. 

Taking place in the Buckinghamshire countryside, Dani and Jarrod were joined by 50 of their closest friends and relatives. 

She was walked down the aisle by her father Danny, who had promised his daughter that he would keep his speech clean.

An insider told The Sun: 'Danny and Jo were very emotional about Dani getting married. She was their first born and she was there through all the highs and lows.

'They couldn't be more proud and they love Jarrod like a son. Danny walked her down the aisle. Jo joked that they should both do it but they're keeping it traditional.

'Jo made sure Danny's speech wasn't outrageous.' 

The source added that their wedding gift to their daughter was paying for her hen do and her £10,000 dress. 

Dani and Jarrod's two-year-old twin daughters were flower girls, with her son Santiago, four, and brother Arty, 11, as page boys. 

Guests chanted rude West Ham anthem, 'Bowen's on fire and he's sh***ing Dani Dyer,' to the 1997 hit Freed from Desire. 

And Dani's sister Sunnie, 18, read a poem from Sex and The City wedding scene, which went: 'His hello was the end of her endings. Her laugh was their first step down the aisle. His hand would be hers to hold forever. 

His forever was as simple as her smile. He said she was what was missing. She said instantly she knew. She was a question to be answered. And his answer was 'I do'.'

Days before the ceremony, Dani opened up about the touching role her dad Danny would play in her wedding to Jarrod.

She told of how her father and beloved EastEnders star would walk her down the aisle in a moment that would be 'filled with emotion'.

Speaking on their joint podcast, Live and Let Dyers, Dani revealed she was keeping her wedding dress a surprise from her dad until the big day to honour a special tradition.

'Have you not seen that first look when the dad sees their daughter in their dress and that? Oh, it's lovely,' she shared. 

'Yeah, your dad's not meant to see it – it's a moment for the dad as well!'

Dani has had a whirlwind few months, filled with two lavish hen parties and all the excitement of getting ready for her big day.
