Want to live just like Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit? This is your chance.
A real-life 'Hobbit house' is up for sale - but you will need some deep Baggins to afford it.
The home was inspired by Bag End, the house of Bilbo Baggins in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit book, which is the prequel to The Lord of the Rings.
But the fairytale property is not located in Middle Earth. Instead, it stands in the heart of Culver City, the creative epicenter of Los Angeles where a plethora of film studios are located.
The Hobbit house is part of a unique nine-unit apartment campus, featuring story-book architecture that was designed and built in the 1940's by Disney artist, Lawrence Joseph, according to The Sher Group's property listing.

Joseph put over two decades of work into the property from 1946 to 1970 to transform it to resemble his vision.
The property was reportedly influenced by his experience as a sailor and the architecture of the 1920s and 1930s, as seen in the animated film Snow White (1937), according to Bild.
The five story-book structures have shingled roofs, nautical details, carved beams, leaded-glass windows and there is parking onsite for a total of nine cars.
Joseph rented some of the Hobbit House out until his death in 1991, even housing Hollywood stars like Nick Nolte and Paula Prentiss at some point.

It was declared a listed building in 1996, so the Hobbit House cannot be altered.
Outside the listed home, there are several new apartment buildings, marking a stark contrast to the fairytale-like house.
The Baggins house has been passed down to Joseph's heirs and they have now put the property up for sale for $1.95million.
