Danny Jones' wife Georgia Horsley admitted that it took the McFly star a year to convince her to go on a date after she thought he was 'a top shagger'.
Musician Danny, 38, has been at the centre of a cheating scandal this week, after video emerged of him sharing a drunken kiss with Love Island star Maura Higgins at the Universal Music's BRIT Awards afterparty on Saturday night, threatening his ten year marriage to Georgia.
Miss England winner Georgia, 38, met Danny in 2008 and they now share a son Cooper, seven, but the model turned podcast host has admitted it took her a long time to fall for her future husband.
Speaking on the Never Have I Ever Joel Dommett and Hannah Cooper podcast in November 2024, Georgia said that Danny told he had 'two other dates lined up' when he asked her out, adding: 'He was a bit of a d*ck, and I didn't really like him.'
She confessed that a determined Danny 'tried for a year' to win a date, with Georgia laughing: 'I do like to drop that into conversation every now and again. He wanted me for a year.'
'I said no. I was totally chilled when we went on the date. I didn't really want to. My mum went, "Oh darling, what have you got to lose? Go on, go and enjoy yourself."'

She recalled that she thought Danny would be a stereotypical musician, telling the podcast: 'I said he's probably going to be a bit of a top shagger, isn't he?'
'I just assumed. I treated him mean, kept him keen - without realising.'
Georgia finally agreed to a date in 2009, and the couple got engaged in 2013.
Danny meanwhile joked about leaving his wife days before he was spotted kissing Maura.
After the two were pictured pecking at the bash hosted at 180 The Strand, MailOnline revealed that the two spent the evening together in a cosy booth.
Footage shared with The Sun showed the pair getting cosy at the venue where they had also shared a table earlier in the night with their I'm A Celeb co-star Oti Mabuse.
After the video was widely shared online, comments Danny has made in a recent interview resurfaced - where he joked about 'leaving' Georgia.
Speaking with Rob Beckett and Josh Widdecombe on their Parenting Hell podcast, Danny revealed to them he had moved house whilst on I'm A Celeb.

Danny said of his recent stressful house move: 'Are you renovating? Same mate. It's a nightmare isn't it?' as Rob joked: 'Is that why you went in the jungle, to get money for the renovations?'
Josh then chimed in to say: 'To get away with it. Have my kitchen done - three weeks in the jungle.'
Rob then quipped that 'you're honest when they go - why are you here? I've got a massive tax bill and she's left me. That's why I'm here. Give me the kangaroo d*** and let's get this done.'
Danny then said: 'Do you know what? I left my wife to move,' before quipping: 'I just left my wife,' as all three of them laughed.

Rob called it an 'awkward exclusive' before Josh said: 'What an exclusive.'
Danny then explained: 'I left my wife to move house so I'm surprised she's still with me to be honest because she moved the house all by herself.'
Representatives for Maura and Danny have been contacted by MailOnline for comment.
