Jack Grealish has been spotted with revellers at a North East social club on Sunday night after Manchester City's FA Cup win over Plymouth.
The Englishman has endured a frustrating campaign at the Etihad, falling out of favour with Pep Guardiola, with his performances increasingly under the microscope after his manager publicly called into question his fitness and conditioning.
Grealish, who joined City for a British-record £100million fee in 2021, made a rare start against Argyle on Saturday evening and played 90 minutes in the 3-1 win against the Championship strugglers.
A day later, he was spotted at the North Biddick Social Club near Sunderland, with the Citizens now free of midweek commitments, having crashed out of the Champions League last week.
The 29-year-old could be seen alongside two others at the club in Washington and let his hair down ahead of City's next fixture against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
The establishment proudly boasts of their 'unbelievably low prices' that punters allows punters to 'save a small fortune'. A menu last year shows prices for pints 9ranging from £2.94 to £3.60.
Elsewhere, a bottle of prosecco comes in at just £9.90, while spirits will set customers back as much as £2.95, with prices for vodka, whiskey and gin far cheaper. One commenter on social media claimed that Grealish put a substantial sum behind the bar for the regulars.
Hours prior, Grealish generously posed for photos with locals outside the Lord Nelson pub in Gorton, Manchester. The City star also held a baby while posing for a snap with kids inside the pub.
The Facebook account of the pub posted the snaps, with the accompanying message: 'Look who popped in. Jack Grealish paid us a visit today.'
The sighting comes just two weeks after he was seen leaving an A-list hotspot with a mystery blonde woman after City's crushing European exit at the hands of Madrid.
Last month, Grealish, who recently welcomed his first child with partner Sasha Attwood, was seen leaving Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone accompanied by the mystery blonde. However he was then heard shouting: 'She's not with me!'.
Grealish then doubled back into the venue before returning shortly after, alone, and sneaked into a chauffeur driven car, just after midnight. He later denied that he knew who the blonde woman was.
A number of other notable names, including Mark Ruffalo, Ellie Bamber, Morena Baccarin and Jamie Carragher, were also in attendance at the celebrity hotspot.
Last week, Attwood appeared subdued as she made a quick trip to Sainsbury's near their home in Cheshire, dressed casually in a black Prada fleece jacket and sweatpants.
She appeared to be enjoying a night in on Sunday, taking to Instagram to post a image of 'organic sourdough' cookies alongside one of the couple's dogs.
The news comes shortly after Grealish admitted that 2024 was 'the most difficult year' of his life.
The former Aston Villa captain was part of a Manchester City side that won a fourth Premier League title in a row last season.
He had also seemingly struck up a lethal partnership with Erling Haaland in the Norwegian's first season at the club that yielded a Champions League Treble, Pep Guardiola's side's first European honour.
However, he only started 10 league games in that record-breaking campaign, before missing out on a place in the England squad for Euro 2024.
Grealish said: 'Last year, the whole year itself, it was weird because my little daughter was born, but apart from that it was one of the most difficult years - probably the most difficult year of my life for many reasons, on and off the pitch.
'I found it really difficult. But it's a new year, a sort of fresh start, and hopefully I can kick on from here.
'I feel like in my last few games that I have played - against Palace, Salford and Orient - I am trying to be involved more in the goals and assists.
'Listen, I want to start playing more often and have that rhythm - the way I was a couple of years ago when I was playing a lot of games in a row.
'I do find it difficult at times to come in and out of games, not really playing. Hopefully I can keep training well and playing a few more games.'
Grealish has made his 14 starts this season- three of them came against League Two Salford City, League One Leyton Orient and Championship Plymouth.
Sources at City intimating privately that this summer could be the end of the road for Grealish at the club.
After City's win on Saturday night, Guardiola remained bullish on the winger when pressed on his evident drop-off.
He said: ‘Listen, Jack played at (Leyton) Orient and played really good, and after he played against (Real) Madrid – Madrid is not a friendly game, right?'
After 20 minutes, he was out for an injury. It’s happened this season. And after when you see Jeremy (Doku) now or Savio in that position, it’s obvious that they have to play.
‘But the reason why he didn’t play much, he was not able, because he’s had niggles or problems.
‘This is the question, no question marks about his quality. Please, never, ever, ever doubt the quality that Jack has.’
