Luke Littler kept the crowd on edge as he secured a thrilling 10-9 victory against Peter Wright at the UK Open on Friday.
Littler, 18, had been leading 7-4 and 9-7 against Snakebite in the fourth round of the tournament, but the 54-year-old pulled the match level at 9-9.
Heading into the final leg, Littler found himself with 170 left having previously missed a match dart at bullseye earlier in the tie.
After striking two triple 20s, Littler had another chance at the bull for victory, but decided to take the safe option as he hit 10 to leave himself 40 in his next visit to the oche.
This led to jeering from the crowd as they were left frustrated that the teen sensation hadn't ended the game in style by taking out 'The Big Fish'.
However, Littler smiled and wagged his finger to the crowd and could be seen saying 'not a chance'.

With Wright left on 228, Littler had plenty of leeway and subsequently struck double 20 on the first attempt before he celebrated with a fist bump.
The slightly low-key end to the match - which took place at Butlins in Minehead, Somerset - was at odds with what had been a stunning encounter as Littler averaged 109.
And some fans were left frustrated by the teen's safety-first approach.
'Littler not going Bull for the big fish to win is criminal!,' one said, before another added: 'Littler had the 170 played it sensible and leave double top..?'
A third fan chimed in with: 'Littler teasing the 170 for the match is ludicrous by the way. Unbelievable game of darts!!'
However, when others weighed in on the debate, they felt that Littler had done the right thing.
'Proper maturity from Littler there, absolutely the right thing to do not to go for the bull. What an unbelievable game too,' one said.
Meanwhile, taking to X following the game, Littler shared a clip of the action and said: 'No fishing today. Always great to win a last leg decider. On to the next round.'

Littler's interaction with the crowd comes just a week after he fired back at booing fans in Dublin during his surprise defeat by Gerwyn Price in the Premier League.
Price beat Luke Littler 6-4 in their quarter-final clash to make it five wins in a row over the 18-year-old - who appeared frustrated as he made his way off the stage.
The Iceman ended the match with an average of 102.64, having scored five 180s on his way to booking a place in the semi-finals.
Littler was given a hard time by the Irish fans and he let them know how he felt about them midway through the match.
When Littler landed double 14 to reduce his leg deficit, he proceeded to gesture to them to calm down before making a flicking motion.
It was more emotion than we are used to seeing from the usually calm and collected 18-year-old, who had spoken about fans whistling before the event.
And then following his defeat, Littler walked off stage and threw his darts case onto the floor in an evident show of frustration.
Meanwhile, at this week's Premier League event in Exeter, Littler was narrowly beaten 6-4 in the final by Luke Humphries, although he did throw a record-breaking 10 180s as he crushed Stephen Bunting 6-3 in the quarter-finals.
