Sam Thompson has reportedly 'stepped down' from his role on Love Island: Aftersun due to his 'jam-packed schedule'.
The reality star, 33, became a regular on the programme since being crowned King of the Jungle on I'm A Celeb in 2023, and is now said to be 'moving on' from the gig.
His departure marks a shift for the weekly companion show, which offers behind-the-scenes insight and lively debate around the villa’s biggest moments.
While Sam had brought his trademark humour and high energy to the role, he has now decided to bow out, leaving fans wondering who will take his place on the Aftersun sofa.
To lead to the decision was a mixture of Sam's heavily-packed schedule and ITV's bosses being keen on 'harnessing new talent', especially 'influencers and TikTokers to boost rankings'.
'Sam's schedule is jam-packed and producers are going in a different direction so there'll be a bit of a shake-up Aftersun,' a source told The Sun.
'Sam may well return as a guest, but he won't be a regular.'
In addition, spokeswoman for Sam said: 'He absolutely loved his time as part of the Love Island team and the show will always have a special place in his heart.'
Daily Mail has contacted Sam's representatives for a comment.
Just earlier this week, the presenter and his model girlfriend Talitha Balinska enjoyed a weekend away with his family.
Talitha, 25, joined Sam, his sister Louise, 36, her husband Ryan, 35, and their son Leo, four, on a trip to Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds along with Sam's mother Karen.
Louise shared a gallery of images from the trip, which saw the family cycling around the private members' grounds.
Sam had a look of pure joy on his face as Talitha threw her arms around him on the sofa, while Ryan strummed away on his guitar.
Louise captioned it: '✖️ happy times✖️ #oxfordshire #ukstaycation #countryhousestyle #cabininthewoods #travelwithus.'
TV personality Sam confirmed his relationship with influencer Talitha, 25, in early December.
Sam revealed in February he told Talitha he's 'in love' with her while they were sat on the sofa together, telling his friend Pete Wicks he'd 'known for a bit' but struggled to say the words.
And last week, Sam revealed how he really feels about his ex Zara McDermott's boyfriend Louis Tomlinson for the first time.
The radio presenter, 33, split from the TV personality, 29, in 2024 after five years together.
