John Fury has shared his reservations about his granddaughter Venezuela Fury's engagement in the new trailer for At Home with the Furys, offering a more traditional view on teenage relationships.

In the clip, the Fury family patriarch reflects on the news that Venezuela, 16, is set to marry her boyfriend Noah Price, stating that in his opinion, teenagers are too young for such commitments.

'On my watch,' he says, 'a 15-year-old should never have a boyfriend, ever.'

The moment features as part of a wider storyline in the upcoming Netflix series, which follows Venezuela's relationship with Price and the reaction from those closest to her.

The teenager revealed she was engaged earlier this year after Price proposed during her sixteenth birthday celebrations, with the scene also teased in the trailer released today.

In it, Price is seen approaching Tyson Fury to ask for permission before later getting down on one knee in front of Venezuela's family and friends. Venezuela looked glamorous for the event as she stepped out in a blue floral-print backless mini dress, Louboutin heels, and a headpiece, as she carried a yellow Chanel bag.

Meanwhile Noah looked dapper in a tailored navy suit with a red tie and handkerchief, as well as brown leather brogues - pulling Venezuela in for a kiss on the cheek after she said yes.

During his conversation with Tyson, the Gypsy King adopts a notably serious tone, pausing to emphasise the weight of his words before asking: 'Marriage is forever. Are you sure this is what you want to do?'.

Venezuela's parents, Tyson and Paris Fury, appear supportive of the relationship despite acknowledging her age. Paris previously said she was 'still in shock' but 'very happy' for the couple, while Tyson is shown giving his approval ahead of the proposal.

However, the same cannot entirely be said of her grandfather, John. Known for his deeply traditional outlook and old-school values, John is understood to be less comfortable with the situation - particularly given Venezuela’s young age.

While early engagements are sometimes part of Traveller and Romany Gypsy life, it’s far from a one-size-fits-all tradition. Customs can vary widely between families, with some welcoming younger relationships, while others prefer to take things slowly.

John, in particular, is very much old school. He has long lived by the values of the Traveller way of life, where family, respect, and clearly defined roles are everything.

He still embraces the traditional nomadic lifestyle, living in his wagon and keeping close to those he loves, and it is this upbringing that shapes his view on relationships.

Given those deeply held beliefs, it’s perhaps no surprise that he is cautious. Even in a culture where young romances are sometimes accepted, John is said to take a firm, old-fashioned stance on commitment - particularly when it involves someone as young as Venezuela.

The situation has inevitably drawn wider attention due to the couple’s age. In England, the legal minimum age for marriage and civil partnership is 18, meaning the pair would not be able to marry in the near future.

The engagement also mirrors Tyson and Paris's own relationship, having first met as teenagers before later marrying and starting a family.

Venezuela and Price made their relationship public earlier this year, having been seen together at events including race days at Ascot and York.

Noah, who is a boxer and describes himself as an East Midlands belt holder, has since appeared regularly on her social media.

The storyline is expected to form part of the second series of the Netflix show, which continues to follow life inside the Fury household as the family navigate both personal milestones and life in the public eye.
