Lily Allen has been seen posing topless in behind-the-scenes snaps from her shoot with ELLE after addressing the 'trauma' of her marriage collapse.

The singer, 40, recently addressed the 'trauma' of the breakdown of her marriage to David Harbour in a cover interview with ELLE UK magazine.

For the interview, Lily posed for an array of glamorous snaps - including a topless picture where took a bite out of an apple.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Lily shared behind-the-scenes snaps from the shoot with ELLE UK.

She was seen sitting on a chair behind a table wearing just a pair of nude knickers as she seductively turned to the camera.

Elsewhere Lily donned a racy red lace lingerie bodysuit as she lay down on a white satin sheet.

Lily sought revenge on her ex–husband David in the most brutal of ways with a savage divorce album after accusing him of cheating on her.

Earlier this week, she praised school mums for their support during her 'traumatic' marriage collapse as she addressed his 'infidelity'.

Released without prior notice and described as a 'brutal, tell-all masterpiece', West End Girl laid bare the complexities of her relationship with David across 14 searingly honest tracks - and confirmed Allen's return to music after an eight year absence.

'I was processing things that were happening at quite a traumatic period of time,' she recalled of her writing process while working on the album.

'I don't think that it’s a particularly self-aware record. It's a really angry record - and it's a lot more about rage directed towards other people.

'It's not really about self-reflection.'

After eviscerating the Stranger Things actor in her hit record West End Girl, the singer is set to seek retribution once again – but this time on the music industry colleagues who she claims bullied and abused her in the past, it was revealed last week.

The Mail on Sunday revealed Lily is determined to finally release an album which was written five years ago and features songs intended to 'shame' the men who mistreated her.

It was never released by her label BMG at the time as her popularity had dipped and her music career appeared to be in free fall.

But tonight a music industry insider said: 'There's now great excitement about Lily's unreleased album finally getting a release. She's really pushing the idea.

'Having timed the release of West End Girl perfectly to coincide with Harbour's comeback in Stranger Things, heaven knows what she's got in store for her other exes if the album does get released.

'Lily knows her currency right now, she is a superstar after her last album and if ever there was a time to get what she wants, it's now.'

Every song on the unreleased album is about a separate colleague, although she refrains from actually naming the men and instead uses a different first name for each song.

The source adds: 'There will be plenty of material – Lily has had rotten time within the industry.

'As a vulnerable young woman, there were many people circling around to abuse her.'

Lily exchanged vows with Harbour in Las Vegas before relocating to the actor's New York City townhouse - notoriously referred to as the 'p***y palace' on her new album (Lily and David seen in 2024)

In 2018 Lily claimed she had been sexually abused by a music industry executive, saying the unnamed man had settled her in his hotel room after a party and then tried to have sex with her as she slept.

To avoid legal ramifications, her bosses have suggested she use the British–born producer Blue May, who worked with her on West End Girl, to help her update the record.

Lily, mother to Ethel, 14, and Marnie, 13, was in Los Angeles, where Blue lives, in recent weeks.

She has made such an impact that as music industry executives gather for tonight's Grammy Awards, the London–born singer is 'the talk of the town'.

The March issue of ELLE UK is on sale from February 5.
