A world-famous pop star was completely unrecognizable as she made a surprise cameo on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
Although Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard was hosting and A$AP Rocky was the musical guest, this songstress was the highest-profile name to appear on the latest episode of the long-running sketch show.
She disappeared into the role of a preteen boy in a sketch about a fictional podcast called Snack Homiez hosted by a group of 12-year-olds, along with one 13-year-old whom the others regard as old and affectionately call 'unc.'
Wolfhard played their guest, a devotee of the 'looksmaxxing' trend who takes measures as drastic as breaking his jaw to reshape his face, aka 'bone smashing.'
All four young boys who host Snack Homiez were played by women, including Saturday Night Live stars Chloe Fineman, Jane Wickline and Veronika Slowikowska.
Can you guess who the fourth one was?
She was none other than Sabrina Carpenter, making her return to the show after she performed double duty as host and musical guest in October.
That October episode marked the first time Carpenter played a preteen co-host of Snack Homiez - the part she reprised this weekend.
In her first outing as one of the Snack Homiez, the boys were seen interviewing U.S. President Donald Trump, played by Saturday Night Live cast member James Austin Johnson.
On this week's episode, Carpenter's character Tayson was back after 'being grounded for spending too many Fortnite books in a week,' one co-host explained.
Wolfhard appeared as a Twitter-famous 'looksmaxxing Gigachad' called Micah, in a sketch aimed at male internet culture and Generation Alpha slang.
A$AP Rocky then slid into the studio as himself, prompting Micah to fawn over his 'unprecedented levels of Chad-dom' and Rocky to call him 'weird, bro.'
Carpenter made her Saturday Night Live debut as the musical guest on the season 49 finale in 2024, and then early last year she and classic rock legend Paul Simon opened the 50th anniversary special by performing a duet.
When she acted as both host and musical guest this past October, she made a splash by using the word 'f***' twice on network television.
The swearword made its appearance while she was singing her new song Nobody's Son, in which she sings: 'He sure f***ed me up,' on two occasions.
Although the profanity appeared unedited on the live East Coast broadcast, the lyric was censored by the time it aired on the West Coast.
The official video posted by the show to YouTube was also bowdlerized, as was the version of the episode made available for streaming.
Profanity on network TV can lead to fines by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), though it remains unknown whether NBC was penalized over Carpenter's use of the word 'f***' last October.
