Hollywood A-listers glammed up to strut on the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globes and to celebrate both film and television nominees on Sunday in Beverly Hills.
Celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence and Kylie Jenner showed off their looks upon arriving to the Beverly Hilton - before heading inside the venue to cheer on the winners of the night and enjoy giggles all around.
One Battle After Another, Adolescence, The Pitt and Hamnet raked in awards during the evening, before stars switched from teary acceptance speeches to shmoozing their fellow superstars inside the event.
When stars were not accepting the Golden Globe gong on stage - they had the chance to mingle with each other inside auditorium. And some exchanges - both humorous and shocking - were caught on camera.
Leonardo DiCaprio, who was joined by his mother Irmelin Indenbirken, 82, was a surprise scene stealer for the evening, as the notoriously private star was frequently caught making sassy expressions at other celebrities and the cameras.
Amanda Seyfried meanwhile set tongues wagging with her less-than gracious reaction to her award loss, with her grimacing face shocking viewers.
Amanda was accused of being a real life Mean Girl due to her various facial expressions - some of which were deemed scathing or lacking sportsmanship.
Having starred in the 2004 movie Mean Girls, she was accused of giving a nod to the behaviour of the fictional characters when she appeared disappointed at losing the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture to Rose Byrne.
In a viral clip from the evening, the Emmy-winning star, who was nominated for The Testament of Ann Lee, was caught grimacing briefly before forcing a smile, clapping and standing to applaud the winner.
Also doing the internet rounds was the video of Leonardo, who was seen putting on an extremely animated display while interacting with someone at another table during a commercial break.
He pointed at his own eyes before playfully pointing at the offscreen person, letting them know he was 'watching' them before waving his fingers around and clapping.
His playful moment came after he became a victim to host Nikki Glaser's sharp wit when she poked fun at his legendary penchant for 20-something women.
She said: 'What a career you've had. Countless iconic performances, you've worked with every great director, you've won three Golden Globes and an Oscar. And the most impressive thing is that you were able to accomplish all of that before your girlfriend turned 30.'
Gasps, laughter - and even DiCaprio himself chuckling - filled the room as Glaser quickly backtracked.
'Leo, I'm sorry. That joke is cheap,' she said, before immediately adding, 'I tried not to, but we don't know anything else about you, man. There's nothing else. Open up!'
Meanwhile, cementing her move from reality star to Hollywood mover and shaker was Kylie, who attended the ceremony to support her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet.
Timothée won Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for his role in Marty Supreme, in what is a continuation of his ongoing award season success.
The couple were seated next to each other at one of the many tables - and were suddenly approached by Jennifer who sparked up a conversation with the pair.
The Die My Love actress could be seen reaching towards their table while standing between both Kylie and Timothée.
She later took Timothée's seat as she talked to the beauty mogul - and the pair appeared to be having a blast as they held big smiles on their faces.
While the topic of conversation is not known, Jennifer is notably a big fan of reality television - which was the launchpad for her Kylie's career, with her family's now-defunct reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The TV personality and Oscar-winning actress soon developed a close bond while also pausing for a lighthearted photo session together.
In between winner announcements, the star-studded attendees had the chance to move about the room while also indulging in the drinks and tasty food served to their tables.
As well as his mother, Leonardo was seated next to his One Battle After Another castmate Sean Penn when he was seemingly startled by Kate Hudson.
He had his hand thrown to his mouth in what appeared to be shock as she lightly placed her hands on his shoulders.
The actor shifted his body to slightly turn and glance up to see who had gotten his attention. Kate could be seen letting out a laugh at his surprised reaction.
The humorous moment was soon brushed aside as Leonardo and Kate paused for a memorable photo together later in the night.
Elsewhere during the evening, Timothée was seen crossing paths with Jennifer Lopez and the two stars shared a hug in the crowded room.
The stars were still able to hold a quick conversation with each other during the festivities.
Timothée later accepted the award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for his lead performance in Marty Supreme - which had been presented by Lopez.
Despite his recent gushing proclamations over his famous girlfriend, Timothée had tongues wagging as he barely acknowledged Kylie during his acceptance speech for Marty Supreme.
Owen Cooper - who won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Adolescence - had a special night as well.
Along with becoming the youngest-ever winner of the Golden Globe supporting actor award, the 16-year-old also had the chance to meet George Clooney.
George was seen laying a hand on Cooper's shoulder in a friendly gesture before the pair took a photo together. The teenager also was spotted pausing for a picture with Leonardo - with the Oscar winner flashing a thumbs up towards Owen.
Timothée and Kylie's table appeared to be a popular destination for other celebrities at the event, with Elle Fanning stopping by to also talk to the couple.
Fanning previously starred with the actor in the 2024 movie A Complete Unknown.
The actress crouched down next to the lovebirds and the trio held a lighthearted conversation with each other.
As the night went on, Jenner also had a blast with other guests at their table - such as Timothée's Marty Supreme castmate Odessa A'zion.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder struck a funny pose while also pointing up her middle fingers as her beau remained stone-faced for the picture. But the Dune actor later broke out into a big laugh when another guest approached their table.
Kylie exchanged a friendly embrace with Ariana Grande who also greeted the couple. The Wicked actress held a smile on her face as she made her way over to talk to Jenner and Chalamet.
The former Nickelodeon star later mingled with acclaimed filmmaker Steven Spielberg - and the stars paused for a friendly hug.
Grande has been spending time on the big screen with her latest movies Wicked and the recent sequel Wicked: For Good.
Newlyweds Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco cozied up together inside the venue - and at one point, the record producer laid a sweet kiss on her shoulder.
Gomez was also spotted having a mini Disney channel reunion with Miley Cyrus, and the two stars paused for a memorable photo.
Cyrus previously starred on the Disney show Hannah Montana while Gomez had taken on a leading role in Wizards Of Waverly Place.
Rhea Seehorn won the award for Best Female Actor in a Drama Series based on her performance in the series Pluribus.
The star had a celebratory moment backstage as she held a champagne bottle in her hand. Other celebrities also mingled inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel where the event took place on Sunday.
DiCaprio and Chalamet crossed paths at one point and stopped to take a quick photo together.
Clooney was also accompanied by his wife Amal during the big night to support her husband who was nominated for his role in the movie Jay Kelly.
The couple - who tied the knot in 2014 - cosied up at their table and also mingled with other star-studded guests.
As the Hollywood celebrities began to leave the ceremony, the pair later had a chat with Chalamet.
Paul Mescal and his co-star Jessie Buckley also had a blast backstage after their movie Hamnet won Best Picture.
The pair humorously bit down on the paper that announced the film had won the coveted award at the end of the night.
Frankenstein star Jacob Elordi was seen having a conversation with Miley Cyrus during a special moment at the ceremony.
While Elordi raked in two Golden Globe nominations, the songstress had been one of the presenters at the event.
Julia Roberts was spotted embracing Sean Penn - and the pair had a mini reunion after starring together in the 2022 limited series Gaslit. DiCaprio could also be seen smiling in the snap.
Mescal also talked to Spielberg during the annual event, with the filmmaker being one of the producers of Hamnet.
Wagner Moura excitedly help his Golden Globe after winning Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama for his role in The Secret Agent.
The night was big for many movies, with One Battle After Another - starring DiCaprio - triumphing over Chalamet's project but also beat out Blue Moon, Bugonia, No Other Choice, and Nouvelle Vague for Best Picture - Comedy Or Musical.
One Battle After Another was the most awarded film of the night with four but will no doubt face stiff competition in the Oscars race from Hamnet as it earned the award of the Best Picture - Drama category.
On the television side, it was The Pitt (created by R. Scott Gemmill), The Studio (created by Evan Goldberg, Alex Gregory, and Peter Huyck), and Adolescence (created by Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne) which earned wins in the drama, comedy or musical, and limited series categories, respectively.
One Battle After Another led all winners with four including the aforementioned Best Picture - Comedy Or Musical gong along with Best Director and Screenplay for Paul Thomas Anderson and a surprise Best Supporting Actress win for Teyana Taylor.
The film has already had a very successful Awards Season 2026 run but will face a formidable opponent in Hamnet - starring Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal - which earned the top prize Best Picture - Drama.
Buckley earned one of the top acting gongs of the night as she earned Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture — Drama.
The Irish actress triumphed over an A-list field including: Jennifer Lawrence - Die, My Love, Renate Reinsve - Sentimental Value, Julia Roberts - After the Hunt, Tessa Thompson - Hedda, and Eva Victor - Sorry, Baby.
Cooper's co-star in Adolescence Stephen Graham later earned Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for TV.
It was a massive night for the Netflix series as Erin Doherty also earned Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role — TV Series, Limited series or TV Movie.
Adolescence swept their categories as it finished the night winning Best Limited TV Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for TV over: All Her Fault, The Beast in Me. Black Mirror, Dying for Sex, and The Girlfriend.
Noah Wyle kept up his winning ways after winning at last week's Critics Choice Awards 2026 as he was earned Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series – Drama for The Pitt (created by R. Scott Gemmill).
Wyle also led the beloved HBO show to the top television honor as The Pitt was honored with Best TV Series - Drama.
Another big winner was The Studio as it earned Best TV Series – Musical or Comedy in addition to a Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series win for Seth Rogen.
