Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid are so serious about their future together that they have both taken major steps towards saying 'I do' in 2026, the Daily Mail has learned.
Sources have revealed that 50-year-old actor has not only spoken to the 30-year-old supermodel's mother, Yolanda Hadid, about his wish to get married, he has also asked for her permission to propose.
The A-list couple have been dating since October 2023.
'Bradley asked Yolanda for Gigi's hand in marriage,' a source has told Daily Mail. 'He wants her to know how serious he is about Gigi and how he plans to build a solid family with her in New York.'
Cooper has also let his own mother, Gloria Campano, in on his big plans. 'They are very close and he loops her in on everything,' the source said of the mother-son relationship.
Hadid has known a proposal is coming, and has talked to her mom as well as her father, Mohamed Hadid, about becoming Mrs Cooper, the Daily Mail has also learned.
'Her mom, Yolanda, is on board so that was a no-brainer. But Gigi telling her father she wants to marry Bradley is a big step, it's much more official,' added the insider.
A big reason Cooper and Hadid want to get married is their children, as they want them to be raised together.
Cooper shares daughter Lea De Seine, eight, with his model ex Irina Shayk, 39, and Hadid shares daughter Khai Malik, five, with ex Zayn Malik, 32.
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Cooper and Hadid for comment.
On Saturday, the couple looked more in love than ever as they held hands in New York City.
Both beamed as they left a Broadway theater, where they had enjoyed a performance of Samuel Beckett's Waiting For Godot.
The pair met in October 2023 at a children's party attended by both their kids, Hadid has revealed in the past, and bonded immediately.
Thought Hadid and Cooper only went Instagram official in April of this year.
'I feel so lucky to be 30! I feel so lucky for every high and low - for all the lessons and gifts both have brought me. To get to feel it all!' Hadid wrote in the post, marking her milestone birthday.
'I’m so lucky to be a mom, friend, partner, sister, daughter, colleague to some of the most unbelievable humans!!'
In March, the cover girl had told Vogue that being with the A Star Is Born actor has helped to give her a 'normal experience of dating.'
'Bradley has opened me up to going to the theater more, and that's something that's so nice to bring back into my life,' she said.
'You want to give yourself a normal experience of dating and even for my friends who aren't public figures, that's hard. Where do you go? And, what? You just start talking to people?' Hadid added.
'I think just getting to the point where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential… and you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be. I just feel really lucky. Yeah, lucky's the word.'
Hadid went on to gush about her beau: 'I respect him so much as a creative and I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief.'
Last year, as the model was gearing up to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, she revealed that Cooper was supporting her while 'watching from home.'
'He is on dad duty but so supportive,' she said.
Cooper and his last girlfriend, Shayk, were first linked in 2015 before going public as a couple in 2016, welcoming their little girl in 2017 and then parting ways two years later.
At the time, it was reported that the split was due to them 'spending time apart' and 'living totally separate lives,' according to People.
However, the two have remained on friendly terms.
Meanwhile, Hadid dated One Direction singer Malik for nearly six years before they called it quits in October 2021.
Cooper was married to actress Jennifer Esposito for a year from 2006-2007.
