Fashion influencer Lorna Luxe gave an update on husband John's stage four cancer battle in a new interview recorded two weeks ago
Speaking to Diana Vickers on Metro's Just Between Us podcast, Lorna opened up about her long relationship with husband John, affectionately known as 'Mr Luxe', and how their 21-year age gap has never been an issue.
She said, 'It's absolutely brilliant at the minute', Lorna told the podcast.
'We haven't had the scan results back from his latest treatment yet - but just seeing how he looks, how he is in himself [is encouraging].
'Diana, you'd seen him when he was pretty bad. I mean the difference, even in a couple of months – it shows you that stage 4 cancer doesn't have to be an immediate death sentence.
'I hope we're going to be one of those stories that people look to for a positive.'
Yet just over the weekend, Lorna was away in New York on a work trip when she heard that John had been taken ill with an excruciating migraine and was rushed to hospital, telling her followers about it on Instagram stories.
Doting Lorna dropped everything to rush back to him and was told the news that doctors have discovered a new 4cm tumour on his brain.
While there isn't a definitive plan in place yet, John is currently stable and remains in good spirits.
However, for those living under the shadow of cancer, it shows just how quickly circumstances can change.
Lorna, who has over 1.6 million followers on Instagram, is one of the UK's leading luxury lifestyle influencers.
She built her following by sharing her recovery from an eating disorder, later launching her own successful beauty brand, No 98 Beauty.
Husband John Andrews left his job at HSBC to help Lorna build her business and now regularly appears in her content. Lorna has used her platform to openly share updates on his illness.

In April 2023, John was diagnosed with stage three cancer and underwent chemo. He went into remission a year later in 2024.
In May 2024, Lorna revealed John's cancer had returned – moving to his brain as well as coming back in his adrenal gland.
The influencer said publicly documenting John's illness has helped her cope, with supportive messages from followers providing 'exactly what I needed' during difficult times.
'When the chips are down, you just want to see people getting behind you', Lorna explained.
'I haven't got brothers or sisters. I haven't got a massive family unit.
'When John was in hospital, I would come home overnight, get myself a glass of wine and I would be sat there replying to all these messages.
'They were all just full of love, really nice – exactly what I needed at that time.'
Lorna shared that she and John recently celebrated 16 years of marriage, saying the age gap between them has become less pronounced as they've grown older together.

While the couple don't have children, Lorna revealed she has become more 'curious' about starting a family since turning 40, despite never wanting kids before.
She said: 'I think when you're with someone a long time, you become a bit like them. So, the age gap doesn't feel as obvious.
'We talk the same language. We have the same opinions. Even our political opinions, it's grown and developed together.
'When we met, I was 26 – 26-year-old Lorna wasn't really fussed about a lot of things that 43-year-old Lorna is, right?
'For example, we don't have kids. Maybe I want to have kids now.
'I am definitely questioning my decisions over the last 15 years because I've always put everything off.'
