Big Brother's Zelah Glasson was accidentally 'outed' as transgender in front of all the housemates on Monday night's episode - after he narrowly avoided eviction.
Zelah, 25, - who is a personal trainer - transitioned two years ago but has only so far told a select group of people in house.
But when the housemates all gathered to find out who would be evicted this week Jenny slipped up and revealed that he was transgender.
Friday's eviction was between Zelah and Gani Khan and ahead of the results Zelah addressed the group.
He said: 'I've genuinely had the best f***ing time here. If I do go, don't forget about me by week seven.'
Jenny then shouted out: 'We won't. If you went I'd say, 'where's the transgender'.'
Zelah then looked stunned as Caroline overheard and said: 'Did she just say that?', as another housemate was heard asking: 'Is he trans?'
Caroline then sternly told Jenny: 'Oh for God's sake, they didn't know. We'll talk about it after.'
Later, Jenny - who hadn't realised he hadn't told everyone - was seen sincerely apologising.
She said to Zelah: 'I'm really f***ing sorry. I didn't know that everyone didn't know. I didn't mean it. It wasn't from a bad place at all.'
Zelah then sweetly said: 'OK. I don't think it came from a malicious place.'
Gani was evicted on Friday night.
Big Brother's first eviction night was plunged into uncertainty after Storm Amy forced ITV bosses to scrap the live eviction.
Instead of leaving through the iconic front doors, the unlucky contestant had to be removed quietly as bad weather batters the UK.
Producers had to make the dramatic call to cancel the outside broadcast just hours before cameras were due to roll.
The housemate's exit was shown on Big Brother: Late & Live, with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best fronting proceedings from the studio rather than the outdoor stage.
Audience members who had been expecting the usual eviction night drama were thought to have been told in advance of the change.
A Big Brother spokesperson told The Daily Mail: 'Due to bad weather and as a precautionary measure, tonight's live eviction will take place in the Big Brother: Late & Live studio with no outside broadcast.
They added: 'The health and safety of everyone remains our highest priority.'
This was the first time since the ITV2 reboot that a live eviction had been pulled.
Big Brother continues on Tuesday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
