Donald Trump and Melania will receive a ceremonial welcome from King Charles on the US President's first full day of his unprecedented second state visit to the UK.
The Trumps will spend the day at Windsor Castle where they will be greeted by the Prince and Princess of Wales before meeting the King ahead of a military procession on the royal estate including a historic flypast involving American and British aircraft.
The President will then be guest of honour at a lavish state banquet with both Mr Trump and King Charles expected to give speeches.

I saw him a couple of weeks ago when I was in DC but I’ve not been invited to the dinner tonight. They thought it was more suitable to ask Ed Davey. Don’t ask me why, he’s boycotted it.
So no, I won’t be seeing him. But I did last night speak to Marco Rubio and I did last night speak to Scott Bessent, the Treasury Secretary. I mean, these guys have got big plans. We’re going to hear about big investments in Britain for Microsoft.

My relationship is very good with the UK, and Charles, as you know, who's now King, is my friend, It's the first time this has ever happened where somebody was honoured twice. So, it's a great honour.
