A rogues gallery of educators, an alleged government worker and a employee for an NFL team shared vile remarks on the death of Charlie Kirk in the aftermath of his assassination.

The conservative political activist, 31, was killed with a single shot after a gunman opened fire on him as he spoke with students at a university in Utah on Wednesday.

The unidentified suspect is believed to have jumped from a vantage point on a roof at the campus before escaping into a nearby neighborhood.

On Thursday a high-powered bolt action rifle believed to be used in the attack was recovered, with transgender and anti-fascist ideologies scrawled on bullet casings.

His killing has drawn bipartisan condemnation, but some on social media have opted instead to mock the father-of-two.

Unsurprisingly, employers have been quick to either suspend these people pending investigation or have fired them on the spot with some getting off scot free, for now.

MSNBC political analyst Matthew Dowd was let go from his position with the broadcaster over comments he made while covering the fatal shooting.

The chief strategist for George W. Bush's 2004 re-election campaign suggested the gunshot could have been fired by one of Kirk's supporters.

MSNBC parted ways with political analyst Matthew Dowd following his comments while covering the fatal shooting of Kirk

'[We] don't know any of the full details of this yet. We don't know if this is a supporter shooting their gun off in celebration or... So we have no idea about this', he said.

Dowd made the comments on Wednesday night, with the network later letting him go from his post.

He also released a public apology writing: 'My thoughts & prayers are w/ the family and friends of Charlie Kirk,' he wrote.

'On an earlier appearance on MSNBC I was asked a question on the environment we are in.

'I apologize for my tone and words. Let me be clear, I in no way intended for my comments to blame Kirk for this horrendous attack. Let us all come together and condemn violence of any kind.'

Charlie Rock

The Carolina Panthers reportedly fired junior employee Charlie Rock after he made insensitive posts after the death of Kirk.

Images circulating on social media appear to show Rock having shared a video of Kirk making comments on the need to protect the Second Amendment.

He allegedly wrote alongside the clip saying: 'Why are y'all sad? Your man said it was worth it.'

A screenshot seemingly from his own Instagram account shared the Wu-Tang Clan song 'Protect Ya Neck'. Kirk succumbed to a gunshot wound to his neck.

Charlie Rock - who worked as the Panthers' Football Communications Coordinator - has been dismissed by the team after allegedly sharing the posts on Instagram

The Panthers said: 'The views expressed by our employees are their own and do not represent those of the Carolina Panthers. We do not condone violence of any kind.

'We are taking this matter very seriously and have accordingly addressed it with the individual.'

Gretchen Felker-Martin

DC Comics announced on Wednesday that they would be cancelling a new comic book series by author Gretchen Felker-Martin after her comments surrounding Kirk.

The series, named Red Hood, was pulled just hours after its first issue was released to retailers.

Taking to Bluesky, Felker-Martin reposted a news article about Kirk's assassination.

Alongside it, she wrote: 'Thoughts and prayers you Nazi b****. Hope the bullet's okay after touching Charlie.'

DC then said they would pull Red Hood from retailers, adding that they will offer refunds on copies of the comic that have already been sold.

A statement said: 'At DC Comics, we place the highest value on our creators and community and affirm the right to peaceful, individual expression of personal viewpoints.

'Posts or public comments that can be viewed as promoting hostility or violence are inconsistent with DC's standards of conduct.'

Kristen Eve

Kristen Eve, an elementary school teacher with The Department of Defense Education Activity, appeared to share a lengthy post to her own Facebook.

In a picture of the post shared to X, the pre-K educator derided Kirk as being a 'garbage human', adding: 'I won't mourn him for one second'.

She did add that she felt for his family for their loss, before adding: 'I am tired of having to be the bigger person while the other side destroys to world.

'Charlie Kirk recently said that he thought gun violence victims and mass shooter victims are a reasonable price to pay for the Second Amendment.

'F*** that guy. Ironic, isn't it?', her post was subsequently shared to social media and her Facebook profile appears to have been deleted due to a backlash.

Daily Mail has approached the DODEA for comment on the remarks.

Laura Sosh-Lightsy

Eve wasn't the only educator who took to social media and made callous remarks, with the Middle Tennessee State University Assistant Dean doing the same.

Laura Sosh-Lightsy was let go from her position at the school after saying: 'Looks like ol' Charlie spoke his fate into existence. Hate begets hate. ZERO sympathy.'

Anne Luna-Gordinier

Anne Luna-Gordinier, a Professor of Sociology at California State University, also shared appeared to share a meme of The Grim Reaper using an arcade claw machine.

Over the top of her alleged post it said: 'HAHA OH HELL YEAH CHARLIE KIRK', the image was shared alongside the Chief Keef song 'Laughin' To The Bank'.

The image made its way onto social media, her Instagram account has either been renamed or deleted since being posted by conservative accounts.

California State University said in a statement they 'strongly denounce violence of any form.'

A Florida teacher in Clay County was also suspended from her post after also appearing to celebrate Kirk's death.

Kelly Brock-Sanchez

Kelly Brock-Sanchez shared a post saying: 'This may not be the obituary we were all hoping to wake up to, but this is a close second for me.

Brock-Sanchez, a teacher at Ridgeview Elementary School, was suspended according to State Senator Jennifer Bradley.

Bradley said: 'This teacher has been immediately suspended and an investigation will follow. This type of hate has no place in our schools and around our children.'

Outside of education, one woman who claims she works as a Data Analytics Specialist for the Department of Justice, also shared a remark about Kirk.

Terri Pinkham Vandemark

Terri Pinkham Vandemark also appeared to share a quote from Kirk himself concerning his love for the Second Amendment, he made the comment in 2023.

'I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.'

The quote was posted to an Instagram that she appeared to repost it from who captioned it #thisisamerica that frequently shares anti-MAGA posts.

Daily Mail has contacted the DOJ to confirm if Vandemark is indeed employed at the department, and for their take on her post.

George Abaraonye

The cruel remarks went transatlantic also, with the incoming president of the Oxford Union in the UK facing accusations of celebrating his death.

The Telegraph claims to have seen messages supposedly sent by George Abaraonye, which have also been shared on social media.

One, said to have been sent on WhatsApp, reads: 'Charlie Kirk got shot, let's f***ing go'.

Another message, which the Telegraph claims was posted by Abaraonye on Instagram, says: 'Charlie Kirk got shot loool'.

The Oxford student's Instagram account has been made private, preventing anyone from viewing his posts on the platform.

It is also unclear whether the WhatsApp account that appeared to share the messages belongs to Abaraonye.

Abaraonye was elected for the presidency in June and previously came head-to-head with Kirk during an event at the University in May.

The pair debated about the concept of 'toxic masculinity', during which they disagreed about the impact it posed on younger generations of men and women.
