She is known for her ladylike ensembles and elegant glamour.
Yet Lily James turned her back on her trademark style in a new shoot for Defined Magazine, as she stripped down to lingerie for a sizzling series of snaps.
The Downton Abbey star, 36, looked incredible in a number of racy ensembles, including a white silk underwear set and a black corset and suspenders.
After spending summer lapping up the sunshine in Europe, Lily was turning up the heat at home for the new shoot where she dared to bare in the breathtaking shots.
Her lingerie looks came alongside more daring styles, including a cream fur coat which she draped around her head while pulling a vampish pout.

Lily's white underwear look was comprised of PVC pants and a silk bra layered over a knitted top, which she pulled up to flash a hint of her abs.
She upped the ante once more when she rocked a racy leather trench coat with a boost-busting corset underneath.
A bizarre addition to the shoot saw Lily pose in a spray-on corset top with a pair of emerald earrings in place of her nipples.
The snaps come after Lily lifted the lid on her love life in an interview with Who What Wear. While the star kept tight-lipped about whether she is dating anyone currently, she did disclose she isn't a fan of dating apps.
In the candid interview, the Hollywood actress - who tries to keep her relationships under wraps - admitted she feels 'self-conscious' about going on dating apps.
She said: 'I was always in relationships when the [dating] apps started. Now, I just don't know. I feel a bit self-conscious. I try to stay really private, as private as I can. To be on a dating app feels a bit counterintuitive to that desire.'

Lily also shared her fears about getting older, admitting the biggest change in her thirties has been realising 'life is finite'.
She added: 'I only want to do stuff that I really care about...
'I want to spend time with the people I love. I want to make the most of this wild and crazy life, so I only want to work on stuff that I really love. That's changed.'
The Tom & Pammy star was last romantically linked to musician Michael Shuman in late 2023.

In her interview with the magazine, Lily spoke about her new movie - Swiped, a biopic about Bumble CEO and founder Whitney Wolfe Herd and the sexual harassment she allegedly endured at her former company Tinder.
Speaking about the role, Lily said: 'It was pre-[SAG] strike that I first read the script and I remember being so taken aback by Whitney Wolfe’s story...
'I was really unfamiliar. Dating apps are so a part of our culture, whether you like it or not—they determine and dictate a lot of how we meet people...
'So learning about the story of this woman who was a part of that inception, not only at Bumble but also Tinder, and this phenomenal journey of growth she goes through to become such a formidable, innovative entrepreneur, facing real adversity and challenges, which she overcame, I found deeply inspiring.'
