Pep Guardiola appears to have made a decision on his goalkeeper pecking order at Manchester City.
New signing James Trafford starts Saturday's game against Tottenham - his second Premier League start in a row - seemingly sealing his place as No 1 ahead of Ederson.
Last week, Trafford kept a clean sheet in his first start for City since joining from Burnley in a deal worth £31million - a game in which City earned a convincing 4-0 win against Wolves.
Ederson, who has made 372 appearances for City, has been a cornerstone of Guardiola's side for the past eight seasons.
But with less than one year remaining on the Brazilian's contract, he has been strongly linked with a move away - and today's decision may have marked the beginning of the end for him in Manchester.
Guardiola admitted on Friday that he does not know who his first-choice goalkeeper is, despite insisting last week that Ederson was his No 1.

'We'll see tomorrow, we'll see who trains good,' said the City boss. 'We'll talk with [goalkeeping coach] Xabi [Mancisidor] and we'll see. New players always bring energy.'
Ederson missed last weekend's match officially due to illness, but City are now open to letting him leave with Galatasaray reportedly pushing to sign him.
The 32-year-old has kept 168 clean sheets for City since joining for £35m from Benfica in 2017.
He has won 15 trophies at the club - including a Champions League and six Premier League titles - as well as three Premier League Golden Glove awards.
Elsewhere, City are still reportedly weighing up a move for Paris Saint-Germain shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who waved goodbye to fans last at the Parc des Princes on Friday night.
Donnarumma was informed earlier this month that he is no longer in PSG's plans following the arrival of Lucas Chevalier from Lille.
Despite playing a vital role in last season's success, the Italian has been told to find a new club before the window closes.
Manchester United have also been linked with Donnarumma, with uncertainty lingering around their own goalkeeping situation.

However, the Red Devils are believed to have already agreed personal terms with Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens.
Donnarumma enjoyed the most successful season of his career in 2024-25, registering 12 clean sheets as PSG marched to an imperious treble-winning campaign.
He is widely considered the frontrunner to win the Yashin Trophy for a second time - an award handed out to the best-performing goalkeeper in the world.
It has not yet been disclosed what fee PSG would demand for Donnarumma, but with his publicly documented desire to leave, it would likely be a cut price.
