Katy Perry showcased her statuesque bikini body when she was spotted splashing around in the ocean and frolicking on Miami Beach.

The 40-year-old songstress is currently enjoying a break from her Lifetimes Tour in the wake of her split from Orlando Bloom.

Nevertheless the Roar singer was not alone during her latest outing, as she was accompanied by a cheerful group of friends who traipsed into the water with her.

Now at the centre of romance rumours with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Katy kept a smile on her face and retained her usual ebullient disposition.

She could be glimpsed throwing her hands festively up into the air at one point, while floating around in the shallows surrounded by her pals.

For her beach day, she was decked out in a monochrome two-piece that included a bandeau-style top, offering up a generous helping of cleavage.

Her enviably taut midriff and vertiginous legs were on display in the look, as she emerged from the waves and sauntered dripping wet across the sand.

Opting for a minimalistic look where makeup was concerned, she swept her drenched hair back and accessorised with a sleek set of shades. 

Katy could also be seen ensuring she stayed hydrated amid all the physical activity, refreshing herself with a bit of coconut water.

The sighting comes amid claims she is not interested in jumping back into a relationship following the recent end of her on-and-off romance with Orlando. 

Two months after publicly confirming the end of her engagement to the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, a source told People that the pop star is focusing on raising their daughter Daisy Dove, four, and her Lifetimes Tour.

'Katy isn't looking to date right now,' the insider explained. 'She's still in the middle of a tour; she's a single mum and navigating some major personal changes.'

Weeks earlier, she had sparked romance rumours with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

In July, the pair were spotted having an intimate dinner at Le Violon in Montreal, where they enjoyed cocktails and several different dishes, including one featuring lobster. 

Earlier this month, a source told the Daily Mail that 'Justin wasn't thrilled about the pictures getting out' of their first date. 

'It was a first date. A first date! And these pictures came out and it became this huge thing, which is not what he seems to have wanted,' the insider said. 

'Katy didn't seem to care nearly as much, but he was the one who was bothered. It didn't chase him away or anything, but it wasn't ideal.'

Just two days after the pictures emerged, Trudeau's shyness seemed to have faded when he accompanied his daughter, Ella-Grace, to Perry's concert in Montreal.

Standing in full view of fans, he was spotted singing and dancing along to her greatest hits, including Firework and Dark Horse.

While Trudeau could have opted for a more discreet location, he watched the concert - a stop on Perry's Lifetimes Tour - from visible risers near the stage.

'Here's the thing, if you're going to be with Katy, you have to deal with the paparazzi and the fallout,' the source said. 'I don't know how prepared he was for that. It can be a lot and it can be overwhelming.'

Perry and Trudeau were texting almost nonstop in July, but, according to our insider, their communication has naturally waned in the past two weeks.

'She's busy, he's busy,' they said. 'They have a lot going on, and the newness has worn off. But there's nothing negative about it. They just aren't in constant communication any more. That could change, but for now, it is what it is. It has cooled off.

'They still have nothing bad to say about each other, and in fact I feel like she's been saying really nice things about him.'

The Canadian politician shocked the world in 2023 when he announced his separation from his wife of nearly 20 years, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau. He has gone on several dates since the split - but not with anyone as high-profile as Perry.

Perry and Bloom announced their split earlier this summer, insisting that they would continue to focus on co-parenting their four-year-old daughter, Daisy.

But despite the sexy singles' seemingly intimate dinner and subsequent concert, a second source told the Daily Mail that their rendezvous was never anything serious.

'Katy and Justin are treating their get-together as just that: a get-together,' they said.

'She hasn't told anyone it was anything more, and she usually wears her heart on her sleeve, so if something were happening, she'd let her close friends know. But right now it is nothing more than friendship.

'Could that change? Obviously. But the ball is in Katy's court right now - no relationship so far.'

Following her split from Bloom, Perry's rep confirmed to the Mail that 'Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.’ 

She previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 until their divorce in 2012.
